Six Months Old

What a busy few days. Wesley turned six months old today. He had a good Easter and got to visit with Daddy's family in Arkansas over the weekend. He even got to meet his 13 month old cousin Harrison.

At the doctor's office today he was 21lbs 12oz and 29 1/2 inches. Off the charts, but still proportional!

I guess it's OK.

We went to Ruston last weekend to visit Grandmere and Grandpop. It was also Mama's birthday!

He is very interested in drinking out of a cup lately. He really likes to drink water out of his sippy cup and is very interested when anyone drinks out of a cup around him!

Geaux Tigers!

Wesley is very excited about the Tigers' trip to the Final Four. We watched the UT vs LSU at Denee & Will's house with Wesley ready to cheer the Tigers to VICTORY! It's worth noting that this is the same t-shirt he was wearing during football season, amazingly enough!

Wesley also got a new swing this weekend. The weather was perfect for swinging and watching the cars go by! The swing is in a tree on the side yard in view of the kitchen window.

4 Months Old

It's been a busy few weeks for Wesley James! He was christened on February 19, and he turned 4 months old on February 20.

His 4 month doctor visit was on February 23. He weighed in at 18lb 15oz and was 27 1/2in long. His doctor said he is off the charts, but proportional! She also said he can start taking some rice cereal. And, he had to get 4 shots but it wasn't as bad as last time. His nanny, Ms Joan, came along and got to meet his doctor.

Back to work!

After 15 weeks at home with Wesley, Rebecca went back to work last week. We were very fortunate to find a nanny to take care of him during the day. She has been a nanny for 22 years and has only worked for three families during that time. Wesley and Eddie think she's great!
