Happy Mothers Day

We went to Lafayette to Cousin Emily's wedding reception this weekend. It just happened to coincide with Mothers Day. We also visited Uncle Brent and Aunt Kristie's new house on the way back into town. Grandmama was there, so we got to see both grandmas on Mothers Day!

Six Months Old

What a busy few days. Wesley turned six months old today. He had a good Easter and got to visit with Daddy's family in Arkansas over the weekend. He even got to meet his 13 month old cousin Harrison.

At the doctor's office today he was 21lbs 12oz and 29 1/2 inches. Off the charts, but still proportional!

Two posts in one weekend?

It's been a busy weekend. Wesley went to his first birthday party today for his friend Ella. She's one year old! Her party was at Gymboree.

We went to Ruston last weekend to visit Grandmere and Grandpop. It was also Mama's birthday!

He is very interested in drinking out of a cup lately. He really likes to drink water out of his sippy cup and is very interested when anyone drinks out of a cup around him!

Geaux Tigers!

Wesley is very excited about the Tigers' trip to the Final Four. We watched the UT vs LSU at Denee & Will's house with Wesley ready to cheer the Tigers to VICTORY! It's worth noting that this is the same t-shirt he was wearing during football season, amazingly enough!



Wesley also got a new swing this weekend. The weather was perfect for swinging and watching the cars go by! The swing is in a tree on the side yard in view of the kitchen window.
