Labor Day, First Day of School, and a trip to the beach!

Wesley had a very busy week. Over Labor Day weekend, we traveled to Ruston to visit Nana, Papa, Aunt Mern, Uncle Rick, and the chickens & dogs. We swam a lot and rode on the boat. We also had some good eggs from Aunt Mern's chickens. Wesley like the eggs, but wasn't too sure about the chickens.

Thursday was Wesley's first day of school. He goes to Mother's Day Out from 9-2 on Thursdays.


"Ready go bye-bye car!" Wesley and his lunch box and his big boy shoes.


Wait...we're going where? And you're leaving me?

He was a little concerned at first but had a great time. He even managed to take a nap on a mat like a big boy.

Immediately after school, we headed down to Galveston for a long weekend in a beach house we rented. We had lots of fun swimming, finding seashells, and eating.
