I'm two!!

Wesley James turned two this past weekend. We had a great time at his party...and while Grandmere/Nana, Papa, and Aunt Mern visited!

Fall is here!

The weather in Houston has finally cooled down a bit. The church has their pumpkin patch up and running and everyone is ready for more pleasant weather.

Trip to New Orleans and a Race!

We visited New Orleans last weekend with Papa, Nana, and Aunt Mern. Daddy, Mama, Aunt Mern, and Papa went to the LSU vs Tulane game in the Superdome while Nana and Wesley visited the Aquarium of the Americas.

We also had brunch with Paul and Alysia, and Trevor and Baby Katherine on Sunday morning...It was great!


The streetcar line on St Charles is still out of service, so Nana and Wesley had to trudge across St Charles and take the bus to the aquarium.

This weekend we went to the Race for the Cure for breast cancer. Daddy ran the 5K and Mama and Wesley did the 1K.

Labor Day, First Day of School, and a trip to the beach!

Wesley had a very busy week. Over Labor Day weekend, we traveled to Ruston to visit Nana, Papa, Aunt Mern, Uncle Rick, and the chickens & dogs. We swam a lot and rode on the boat. We also had some good eggs from Aunt Mern's chickens. Wesley like the eggs, but wasn't too sure about the chickens.

Thursday was Wesley's first day of school. He goes to Mother's Day Out from 9-2 on Thursdays.

He was a little concerned at first but had a great time. He even managed to take a nap on a mat like a big boy.

Immediately after school, we headed down to Galveston for a long weekend in a beach house we rented. We had lots of fun swimming, finding seashells, and eating.

Busy month!

It's been a busy month for Wesley. We have been home all month, but have had lots of activities and visitors to keep us busy.

We visited Destin, Florida with Grandmere ("Nana") and Papa ("Boppa") last month. We had a great time and enjoyed the sand and surf.


We came all this way for Wesley to play with a hose just like at home!
